Each of the 20 rooms boast a veranda overlooking either the lake or natural panorama of the bush and beyond, while tasteful décor evokes the earthy sensuality of a true African safari experience. Bumi Hills Safari Lodge offers a variety of game and bird life viewing for the enthusiast and amateur alike. Elephant, buffalo, kudu and impala abound, while lions can be heard on the hunt.Almost 400 bird species have been recorded on the valley floor and around the lake shore. These include the European hobby, the cuckoo falcon and the bat hawk. Fish eagles and bateleur eagles survey all from above. The lodge is nestled in the natural bush on top of the hills and offers both a cooling breeze and fantastic views of the lake.
